Where the earthbound takes wing

Judy Choi, is the creative force behind e2h design. The founder and principal of A.I.R. Architecture, Choi loves her field, but wanted an outlet to explore design with no constraints, complete creative freedom, and control over the final form. With e2h, that desire has taken flight!

e2h, shorthand for “earth to heaven”, illustrates the goal of the company to achieve design balanced between function and the ideal—artful and sustainably designed furniture and household goods.

Embodying the Qualities of Endurance

Think the titan Atlas forever holding up the world, or more specifically your books and treasures—or perhaps the strongman at Coney Island. The whimsy and poetry are built in to this charmed meeting of wood and metal.
How you ultimately interpret the "X" factor is up to you!

The Ceremonial Made Quotidian

The Chigi Shelf, inspired by the forked roof finials found in Shinto architecture, most succinctly embodies the core values of e2h: artful and ecologically considerate design, sustaining the past through cutting-edge renewable technologies.

Elemental Elegance

The impulse to do work that is "more hands-on" finds expression most pointedly
in the Braid Shelf, born of clay: pushed, pulled and wrapped in the oldest of sculptural technique,  but achieving final expression not in bronze but
through the most space-age of technologies.

There's No Place Like Home

Made right here in NYC, this moderately priced, modular shelving system is made from rapidy renewable mycelium (think mushrooms!) and cornstalk. Be it ever so humble, simple but beautifully beveled forms interlock for super-easy assembly with no power tools required.

A Classic Concept Gets a Signature Look.

The Wall Bed, with its couch-to-bed, hidden storage and display shelving, responds to the ever growing need to provide space saving solutions that are more inspiring and aspirational than just simply accommodating. The Wall Bed looks ahead to the realities and challenges of 21st century urban living, while carrying forward the timeless solutions of the Bauhaus and DeStijl.
